Nehru Zoological Park is also known as Zoo Park. Nehru Zoological Park is a Zoo located near the historically significant Mir Alam Tank in Bahadurpura, Telangana, India. It is one of the most looks destinations in Hyderabad. Nehru Zoological Park Timings are 08:00 am to 05:00 pm.

Located 16 km from Hyderabad, Nehru Zoological Park’s Built was started on 26 October 1959 and opened to the public in 1963. It has located near the historically significant Mir Alam Tank, which is 200 years old. Nehru Zoological Park is the first multi-arch masonry park in the World. This Zoo Park is one of the largest zoos in India and one of the top sightseeing places to look in Hyderabad. The zoo has named after Jawaharlal Nehru, the country park’s prime minister. The Government of Telangana Forest Department is running the Park.

Although one can visit Nehru Zoological Park at any time across the year, the best time to do the activities is in the winter season when the temperature drops, creating cool weather for exploring. There is a food court with many-cuisine choices at the Zoo Park and two canteens, namely, Rhino Canteen, near the Rhino enclosure, and Maharaja Canteen, located near the Parrot World, offering snacks, beverages, bakery items, etc. Vijaya Dairy, exclusively selling dairy products, is also inside the Nehru zoological park.

Things to do at Nehru Zoological Park:

A famous picnic spot for the twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad, the zoo park offers various entertainment choices.

Tiger & Lion Safari:

Safaris are the main attraction amongst visitors at Zoo Park. One can choose Bison Safari, Tiger Safari, Lion Safari, and Bear Safari. The safaris run regularly throughout the day, presenting a perfect way to view wild animals such as lions, sloth bears, deer, tigers, etc. 

Toy Train:

The toy train is the Zoo park’s other significant part of a visit to the Hyderabad Zoo. It is prevalent among kids. The fee for a train ride is Rs.10 for kids 3 to 10 years of age. For adults, the price is Rs.20 for each person. 

Bicycle Rides:

Another fun activity to perform at the Zoo Park in Hyderabad is to move for a ride on a bicycle. Bicycles are available at the Zoo Park for a minimum rent of Rs.20 per hour.

Jurassic Park:

It consists of different exhibitions on biodiversity conservation, panel boards with the interactive calls of various animals, evidence of animals such as their feathers, pug mark, etc., and Taxidermy models of multiple animals.

The nocturnal house:
