Warangal District Administration constructed the Mini Zoo in 1985, also famous as Vana Vigyan Park OR Kakatiya Zoological Park, to guard and preserve nature. The Forest Department will maintain an extended fifty acres of the park’s flora and fauna. Mini Zoo Warangal’s timings are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Hunter Road Hanamkonda Town.
Animals happily surround the Zoo, like nilgai, Sambhar, rabbits, sloth bear, crocodiles, tortoises, etc. We can also hear the chirping of birds, which makes us feel pleasant. Birds like Peacocks, Pheasants, Lovebirds, Pigeons, Ring Doves and Ducks welcome guests to the wonder of beauty.

The Zoo has now been converted into a National Zoological Park (Kakatiya Zoological Park) and an enchanting Butterfly Garden. Vana Vigyan Park provides teaching opportunities for kids. The park is the exact place for organizing field and study journeys. The Zoo arranged to teach the new generation to recognize and notice the importance of preserving nature.
The authorities have arranged an education centre on the park premises. This centre is the storehouse of educational materials to assist people in looking at the role of nature in their lives. The centre has a library, an area to host views, and displays aircraft.
Vana Vigyan Park is set between lavish green surroundings. Visiting the park combines diversion with education. People come here to inhale contemporary air and view the scenic and serene surroundings for recreation.
Mini Zoo Warangal Timings
Mini Zoo Warangal’s timings are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The Zoo remains closed on all Mondays. In the park, there are swings and other play equipment for kids. People visit the Zoo to relax their minds and refresh themselves. Nearly 500 tourists visit the Zoo daily, and this number will double during festivals and public holidays.

By Air: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Shamshabad is the nearest airport, 170 km from the park.
