Sri Shyam Baba Prabhu was the grandson of Bheem, the 2nd brother among the ‘Panchapandavas’ and the son of Veer Ghatotkach. Barbaric called him. By Upadesa by God Sri Krishna Barbaric offered constancy to Bhagawathi Durga Mata. Happy with this, Deviji was blessed and appeared to him with three arrows of various kinds.

When Barbaric was on his way to see the Mahabharat war, Sri Krishna transformed into a Brahmin and asked him to sacrifice his head to him. He immediately donated his head with his hands to the Brahmin, And thus, Barbaric became famous as the Great Sacrificer.

After the last of the Mahabharath War, God Krishna offered a gift to him that his head would retake Avatar in Kaliyug and be named and known as Lord Krishna name, Sri Shyam. And such will be his presence that Shyam Baba will fulfil all his worshipper’s wishes.
