Kayavarohan Shiva Temple

During the reconstruction of Somnath Temple, in search of suitable Shivalinga, they requested Jyotirlinga of Kayavarohan to be installed. Still, the villagers of Kayavarohan were not ready to allow it. After some time, Swami Kripalvanandji visited this village, and he noticed that the picture of Lakulish has carved out as sitting in front of Shivlinga. Swamiji acknowledged the spiritual and historical significance of Jyotirliga.

Swamiji consulted with the villagers and built a Shiva Temple here at Kayavarohan. In 1974, the Temple had constructed, and Jyotirlinga was installed in the newly built Temple and established the Kayavarohan Tirth Seva Samaj Trust.
