After the great saint “Dwaraka,” who found the self-manifested idol of Lord “Sri Venkateswara” after performing intense penance in a “Valmikam,” this pilgrimage site is known as “Dwaraka Tirumala” (ant hill). The name Sri Venkateswara, given by his followers, is Kali Yuga Vaikunta Vasa. This location is also known as “Chinna Tirupati.”

Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam will celebrate the important festival Tiru Kalyanostavam.
