The temple was constructed 150 years ago and peaked in 1993 after completing Rajagopuram. Besides the familiar devotees, politicians, VIPs, and Industrialists also come to the temple and perform Pujas.
The other deities in the Peddamma Temple are Laxmi, Ganapathi, Saraswathi, and Naga Devatha. Peddamma temple is also dedicated to Santhana Laxmi, who sits on a lion. Peddamma Thalli is known as Gauramma and Ammavaru here. The temple was developed by Late P Janardhan Reddy, known as PJR took special care.

Festivals Celebrated at Peddamma Thalli Temple:
The major festival celebrated at the temple is Bonalu, which comes on Ashsda Masam in June-July every year. On the day of Bonalu, women carry an earthen pot decorated with neem leaves with turmeric and kumkum.
They prepare food in the pot with rice, jaggery, milk, and curd. The earthen pots are carried as an offering to the Goddess.
Rathotsavam is celebrated for four days on Ratha Sapthami in the Peddamma temple. It is said that the wishes of the devotees who worship Goddess Peddamma come true, and thus devotees come in flocks yearly from all over the world.

How to Reach Peddamma Thalli Temple:
The nearest airport is Shamshabad Airport which is 36km from the temple.
The nearest railway station is Secunderabad, just 6 km from the temple. There is a metro station with the temple as the stop and walkable distance.
The temple is within Hyderabad city. Many buses reach the temple from different places, from MGBS 14 km and Secunderabad railway station.
After the demon assassination, the Goddess is thirsty and comes to the well nearby to gulp water; then, a sphered finds an idol of the Goddess. So, a house of worship had constructed in that place, and now it’s called a Peddamma Talli temple.
This small ancient temple was revived and renovated in 1993 by P Janardhan Reddy, former MLA and minster for labour, as he was a strong devotee of Goddess Peddamma. He was the founder of the temple trust. He developed five floors of Garba Gudi, seven floors of Raja Gopuram, Kalyana Mandapam and restrooms.
