The major festival celebrated at the temple is Bonalu, which is celebrated on Ashsda Masam from June to July every year. On the day of Bonalu, women carry an earthen pot decorated with neem leaves, turmeric and kumkum.

They prepare food in the pot with rice, jaggery, milk, and curd. The earthen pots are carried as an offering to the Goddess.

Rathotsavam is celebrated for four days on Ratha Sapthami in the Peddamma temple. It is said that the wishes of the devotees who worship Goddess Peddamma come true; thus, devotees come in flocks yearly from all over the world.
