NTR Gardens is the most popular urban stop for tourists who visit Hyderabad and also for the residents of Hyderabad. This Garden was built on 55 sections of land in different stages since 1999. The Budha Purnima Project Authority undertook it during the Government of Andhra Pradesh. A dedication was made using five land areas to remember the legendary personality of Mr N.T. The Garden consists of many shopping stalls, activities, Imax Theatre, a stone garden and many food stalls initiated by the Government. Dedicated to the late actor, producer, director, editor and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, this public Garden is a late addition to Hyderabad’s tourist attractions.
The premise boasts flower beds, a topiary, larger-than-life models of fruits, tree houses, toy trains, and water rides. There are also musical fountains and light shows in the evenings.
