How to reach Kailasagiri Visakhapatnam:
Visakhapatnam bus stand is the nearest bus stand.
Visakhapatnam Railway Station had situated at a distance of 13 km from Kailasagiri.
Visakhapatnam International Airport is the nearest airport to reach Kailasagiri.
The main attraction of Kailasagiri is the 40 feet tall statues of Parvathi and Shiva. Kailasagiri comes its name from this statue depicting the abode of the God Shiva and Parvathi.
At 9 kilometres from Vizag Railway Station, Kailasagiri is a charming hill on the seafront at 130 mtrs. Kailasagiri is one of the significant prime attractions in Vizag.
Visiting Kailasagiri Park between 4 pm to 7 pm throughout the week is preferable. One should plan for at least 2 hours to thoroughly see the park.
If you have kids, it will take 3 hours minimum. Also, if you plan to go to kailsagiri by cable car, add another 1 hour extra, as the queue will be longer. Over a year ago. Minimum half an hour, and if you want to spend time there and enjoy the toy train ride, then 2-3 hours.
A one-way ropeway ride is INR 28, and a two-way ride costs INR 55 per head.
The park has located at the foothill of the Kailasagiri with a 2. km Jogging Track.
