A 3,000-tonne Bangladeshi cargo vessel MV Maa drifted from the anchorage point and ran aground near Tenneti park in Visakhapatnam, India. Situated on Beach Road in Jodugullapalem, it is the first children’s playground and one of the oldest parks in the city. 


Kailasagiri is a hilltop park in the town of Vizag in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The park has developed by the Vizag Metropolitan Region Development Authority and comprises 380 acreages of land covered with tropical trees and flora. The hill, at 173 metres, overlooks the city of Vizag. 

Borra Caves:

The Borra Caves has situated on the East Coast of India, in the Araku Valley of the Alluri Sitaram Raju district in Andhra Pradesh. The caves are one of the greatest in the country, at an advance of about 705 metres. The caves are karstic limestone structures extending to a depth of 80 m and are considered the deepest caves in India.


Thotlakonda Buddhist Complex has situated on a hill near Bheemunipatnam, about 15 kilometres from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, India. The mountain is about 128 metres above sea level and overlooks the sea. In 2019, the stupa partially damaged due to monsoons, but restored it by 2021 at the cost of Rs 42 lakh.
