Botanical Gardens Hyderabad | Timings & Best time to visit

Botanical Gardens, also called Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Botanical Garden, is located in Hitech City, Hyderabad. It had developed by the Telangana Forest Department and is 16 km from Hyderabad Railway Station on the Hyderabad-Mumbai Old Highway. The park has named after Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. Timings are 05:30 am – 06:00 pm.

Botanical Gardens

The purpose of the botanical garden is to educate the public about the conservation and development of germplasm and to facilitate modern botanical gardens. In July 2018, Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated newly developed recreational facilities at the Gardens, such as Nakshatra Vanam, Rasi Vanam and Navagraha Vanam.

Best time to visit Botanical Gardens:

The best time to visit Gardens is in July, August, and September. Visit on weekdays to avoid crowds. Alternatively, please pay a visit towards the early morning or the evening when it is refreshing. The Cooled Conservatories stay extended till 9 pm and have a various atmosphere after dark. There are also usually fewer crowds then.

Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Park is a national park in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The park has an area of 390 acres. The palace complex was given to Prince Mukarram Jah on his coronation by his father, Prince Azam Jah, in 1967.
