Siddhi Vinayaka Temple Overview

When their wishes were fulfilled, devotees vowed to revisit the temple. It has two gopurams skillfully carved with stories and statues. Sage Vyasa is said to have installed the idol of Ganapati. Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Temple, which stands out in the village of Ainavilli of East Godavari district, is essential. Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple had built in the Ainavilli village of Konaseema. It had been said that there is no village without a Ram temple, but in practice, there may be a village without a Ram temple, but it is customary to worship Ganesha, the first worshiper, before starting work.

History of Ainavilli Temple

According to the “Kshetra Purana” written here, Dakshaprajapati performed the puja of Lord Vinayaka at this place and prayed for the successful completion of the Daksha Yajna. According to another story, Maharshi Vyasa is said to have installed an idol of Ganapati here before embarking on his tour of South India and built the temple with magnificent gopurams and gateways.

Ainavilli Siddhi Vinayaka Temple

 Large, sprawling and built on high ground, the temple has two gopurams (towers) elaborately carved with stories and statues of the temple deity. You can approach this temple from both sides, i.e. from the south and east. The shrine of the Presiding Lord Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Swamy can approach from the south, where one can lead and come to Sri Visvesvara Swamy from the east. 

Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Swami, the presiding officer, is uniquely enshrined in the southwest corner, i.e. facing south. It had believed that worshipping Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Swamy facing south would bring wealth and prosperity.

Apart from the Presiding Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple, other temples were also established and located within the premises of this temple. Annapurnadevi temple with Sri Visveshwara Swamy is facing east.

The mandir of Sri Kesava Swamy, along with his wife Sri Bhudevi, is on the right side of this mandir. Along with Sri Visvesvara Swamy’s temple, there is Sri Annapurna Devi Mandir on the left side of Annapurna Devi facing south. 

At the northeast corner of the temple is the shrine of Sri Kala Bhairava Swamy, the ruler of the field, facing east.

Ainavilli Temple Pujas and offerings

Devotees used to perform Annaprasana and Tulabharam in this temple. Daily Lakshmi Ganapati Homam had performed. The annual festival Brahmotsavam will be held for nine days on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi.

The speciality of this place is to perform abhishekam with coconuts and fruit juice, according to Shaivagamana for Pratinityam Swami. Remarkably, devotees come here and pay their respects as soon as their wishes had fulfilled.
