History of Surendrapuri Temple:

Surendrapuri temple was created and constructed single-handedly by Sri Kunda Satyanarayana. He was born into a farmer’s family in a small village near Khammam.

He was from a farmer’s family and could not pursue higher education. The idea behind the Temple was the sudden death of his youngest son, Surendra Babu.

His deep and long-lasting love for Indian culture and tradition seemed apt to create the mythological park. When constructing the Temple, he faced many challenges, including his old age, discouraging friends and society, and enormous costs.

He kept aside all the obstacles and started working towards the project at 70 years old. It took over ten years to complete Surendrapuri and get it to a concrete shape. The Temple stands for its robust evidence of one man’s vision and determination.
