The temple has charmingly crafted and is one of the most respected temples in Vrindavan town, especially by the followers of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. It houses the original shaligram deity of Krishna alongside Radharani.

History of Shri Radha Raman Temple 

Radha Raman means the lover (ramana) of Radha. The Raman temple was established 500 years long ago by Gopala Bhatta Goswami. At the age of thirty, Bhatta Gosvami came to Vrindavana town. After Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s disappearance, Gopala Gosvami felt intense separation from the Lord.

The Srila Gopal Bhatta Goswami Samadhi is inside the Raman temple area. The rarely available Unag Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu vastra is there.
