Saleshwaram temple is 60 km from Srisailam; the temple’s presiding deity is Lord Shiva. The Saleshwaram Lingamaiah Swamy temple timings are from 6 AM to 8 PM. The temple is known as Sarveswaram or Saleshwaram.
The temple is in a cave of “Tiger Reserve Nallamala Forest” and is famous for the Trekking spot at Mahabubnagar district. There are two ponds as Sarvesa theertham and Pushkara theertham. The temple was built during the 6th and 7th Centuries AD.

According to Sriparvatha Purana in the 16th Century, Seshanatha in his description glorifies this place. The temple is constructed in a shallow cave with bricks and mortar. In front of the temple, there is a waterfall, the waterfalls from the height of nearly 200 meters. Around the temple, we can see the refreshing greenery, which creates hypnotic scenic beauty.

Saleshwaram Lingamaiah Swamy temple timings are from 6 AM to 11 AM and 4 PM to 8 PM, but the temple is open only for 3 to 5 days in a year during Chaitra Masam full moon day usually falls in April. Many devotees visit the temple only on those days.
If the devotees want to see the temple on other days, they need to get permission from the forest officer. To reach the temple, devotees have to walk on foot for 1 to 2 km. There is a forest path to Srisailam, which devotees used long ago.
Festivals Celebrated
Lingamaiah Jathara organized in the Saleshwaram temple once in two years. Thousands of devotees visit the temple at the time of Jathara. The temple remains closed most of the year.

By Air:
The nearest airport to the temple is Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad.
By Rail:
Cumbum Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Srisailam temple with 60 km.
By Bus:
There are several buses from Mahabubnagar to the temple. But the buses are only available for five days during the temple is open.
