The Chandela rulers built the temples over 100 years, a temple commissioned by a king each. Most of the temples had built by kings Dhangadeva and Yashovarman. The Khajuraho Temples had majorly called for their erotic sculptures and carvings, but there are the same sculptures at the Konark Sun temple in Odisha.
