Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, Nilambur
The Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary lies in Vallikunnu Grama Panchayat of Malappuram district in Kerala, India. It spreads over a cluster of islands where the Kadalundipuzha River flows into the Arabian Sea. The Sanctuary Hill is around 200 m above sea level. It has located 19 km away from the Kozhikode city centre. It is famous for native birds and over 60 species of migratory birds.

Adyanpara Falls
It is a cascading waterfall in the Kurmbalangodu village of Nilambur taluk in Kerala, India. Adyanpara falls 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from Nilambur town and attracts tourists from various parts of Kerala. It is a seasonal waterfall. During Summer, water flow is low. This waterfall is of a natural cascading style as the waterfall descends over the rock. Adyanpara Weir has situated near this falls.

Teak Museum & Bio-resources Nature Park
It is the world’s only Teak Museum. The Kerala Forest Research Institute operates it. On Monday it is closed. Nilambur Teak Museum is the first teak museum in the world. It is the one and only Teak Museum in India.
Museum famous for Kannimara Teak, this tree is the most prominent living tree at 47.5 m. The museum also houses an extensive array of insects, butterflies and moths found in teak plantations.

Conolly’s Plot Ecotourism Centre Nilambur
This place is so attached to nature, and it’s beautiful. The hanging bridge and the sites are also lovely places for couples. The picturesque forest surrounds a historic teak plantation & features a cable bridge over a river. Conolly’s Plot is the oldest teak plantation in the world.

Kovilakam Temple (Vettakkorumakan Temple)
Believed to be the shrine of Lord Shiva’s son in his Kirata (that of a tribal) avatar, it is a popular deity among the locals. The Nilambur Pattu Utsavam is six-day festival. Here features the singing of hymns in praise of the Lord. Celebrated every year in the Dhanu Malayalam Month (January), it is a religious function held by the Nilambur Kovilakam in Vettaikorumakan temple at Nilambur in Malappuram.

Central Forest Nursery has located at Valluvassery near Nilambur town. It has been one of the four forest nurseries of Kerala since 1997. It establishes to generate premium quality seedlings such as teak, acacia and eucalyptus. This place has highly recommended for travellers interested in plant life and plantations. On Sunday it is closed.

Sky Walk Bungalow Kunnu or Old DFO Bungalow
Bungalow Kunnu is famous for the bungalow that was the highlight of the popular Malayalam movie, ‘Bhargavi Nilayam’. Skywalk through the new circuit road is 6 metres and has a total length of 100 metres. One can enjoy the serene beauty of the forest endowed with calmness. This region is a photographer’s paradise. There are about 300 steps to walk.
