Boat House on the Pykara River:
It is an additional attraction that attracts visitors to the Falls, including a restaurant. The Tamil Nadu Tourism and Development Corporation ran it.
It includes many boats. Motorboats take about 20 minutes, and speed boats 10 minutes. It is a fun place.
Pykara Dam:
Pykara Dam is located near the Ooty-Gudalur road. There is a power station at the Dam. The Dam is one of the oldest projects in the country and dates back to Lord Macaulay, the British Viceroy. It still works to generate electricity. There is a reservoir attached to the Dam. You are also allowed to visit the reservoir.
Lake Pykara:
Lake Pykara, a World Heritage Site, is a must-visit place in Ooty. You can go boating or sunbathing on the shores of the River. The atmosphere of Lake Pykara makes it very beautiful and mesmerizing.
The lake is just 2 km away from the Falls. The traffic here is light on weekdays. Lake Pykara is a beautiful place to amaze yourself. The cleanliness and natural nature of the River are truly admirable.
Shooting Point:
It is about 3.8 km from Pykara Dam. The movie industry has shot many movies and documentaries here. Many song scenes were also filmed in this place.
There is greenery all around. It is calm and windy here.

M and N Chocolate Museum:
It is a fantastic museum and place to visit. The M and N Museum is just 8.8 km from the Falls. Sample chocolates were also provided at the Museum. The entrance fee to the Museum is around Rs. 20. You can learn all the techniques of making chocolates.
When you vacate the Museum, you will find a layer of hot chocolate. The chocolates had been made from cocoa butter and cane sugar, with vegetable oil avoided. Domestic travellers and people from abroad visit it.
You can also pick up chocolate packs classified as gifts for family and friends. Dark chocolate made in this place is a must-try. It is a good place for kids.
