Palani Hills Wildlife Sanctuary:
This sanctuary has many waterfalls that flow through the Palani hills. The hills have the highest east-west length of 65 km and an altitude of 1,600 m and 2,000 m.
The sanctuary includes reserve forest grounds. Palani Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is also contiguous to the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and the Manjampatti Valley in the central area of the National Park.
The sanctuary shares borders with the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary and the recently established Eravikulam National Park.
The sanctuary is located 4 km from the sanctuary and is close to other tourist spots like Lake Kodai. One can also visit the Silver Cascade, which is 1.5 km away from the sanctuary.
