How to reach

By Air:

The nearest airport is Shamshabad, Hyderabad, approximately 106.5 kilometres away. Hyderabad boasts excellent connectivity across India. Travellers can either book a private taxi directly to Ramaneswaram or reach Secunderabad Railway Station or Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station via metro, bus, or cab and proceed to nearby Bhongir. From there, they can book an auto to reach their destination.

By Train:

Secunderabad is the nearest railway station. It is part of the South Central Railway network and well-connected to major and minor destinations nationwide. Trains to nearby Bhongir are available. Upon arrival at Bhongir, travellers can book a taxi or auto to reach Ramaneswaram.

From Nalgonda, there is a direct train to Nagireddypalli, a village 4 kilometres away from Ramaneswaram, named Palnadu SF Express.

By Car:

From Hyderabad: Ramaneswaram is 62 kilometres south of Hyderabad. Take NH163 Road and divert onto Bhongir Nalgonda Road. Upon reaching the Nagireddypalli bus stop, turn left and travel straight for 3 kilometres. Mahapeetam is on the right.

From Vijayawada: It is approximately 235.1 kilometres away. Take NH65 from Vijayawada, then turn right onto Chityala-Bhuvanagiri Road. Reach the Nagireddypalli bus stop, turn right, and drive for 2 kilometres. Mahapeetam is on the right.

From Warangal: Around 112 kilometres away. Take the NH163 highway from Warangal and divert onto Bhongir Nalgonda Road. Upon reaching the Nagireddypalli bus stop, turn left and travel straight for 3 kilometres. Mahapeetam is on the right.

By Bus:

Bhongir is 15 kilometres away from Rameswaram. Travellers can board the TSRTC Bhongir to Nalgonda bus and alight at the Nagireddypalli bus stop. From there, free temple-hired autos are available.

By Auto:
