This waterfall is a must-visit place when travelling to Maredumilli. It is only 7 km away from the Maredumilli bus stand. It is located near Rajahmundry- Badrachalam highway road in East Godavari district. The water flows down to the earth amidst the rocks and forest.

During monsoons, this place will delight the eyes of a nature lover. All you can feel and see is the crystal clear water dropping from the green forests, which makes it even more beautiful. You can visit the place at any time of the year. It takes 150m to walk, which is approximately 30 min. The journey might be difficult due to the muddy and uneven path.

Amruthadhara Falls:

Amruthadhara waterfall is 15 km away from Maredumilli bus station. You can visit the waterfalls by road using the road line of the Rajahmundry- Badrachalam highway. With its beautiful picturesque, this place attracts visitors. As you approach the falls, all you can hear is the water dripping down from the forest.

It is a seasonal waterfall which makes it even more exciting. Monsoon is the best time to visit this place because it adds more beauty to the fall and becomes a heaven to the eyes.

The villagers and tribals manage this area by erecting barricades and steps to make the people walk. During monsoon, this place will be most crowded.

Manyam Viewpoint:

It is 15 km away from the Maredumilli bus stand. This place is located between Jalatarangini Waterfalls and Amruthadhara Falls. Consider adding this place to your bucket list because it has beautiful green trees and valleys.

Rampa Waterfalls:

This waterfall is located at Peddakonda in Andhra Pradesh. It is at a distance of 29 km from maredumilli and also 4 km away from Rampachodavaram village. It is one of the most visited and known waterfalls in Andhra Pradesh.

Another name for this fall is Rampachodavaram Falls. The falls are located in dense forests. Hence, visitors use jeeps and private vehicles for travelling.

Besides its view, there is a lord shiva temple named Sri Neelakanteswara Swamy temple. Every year on Shivratri day, a dance festival is conducted by the tribal people of the village; additionally, villagers wear different costumes to worship the god.

Bhupathipalem Reservoir:

This reservoir is 21 km from the Maredumilli bus stand and 4kms from Rampachodavaram Falls. It is located in Bhupathipalem in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

The project has started to provide irrigation facilities to agriculture covering 11,526 acres and increase drinking water facilities for the people in the village.

The entire reservoir is surrounded by pine trees which makes it beautiful. There is a small island with trees with an equally beautiful background. For visitors, parking and boating facilities are available. Altogether you can enjoy your visit with your family.

Gudisa Hill Station:

You can spend a night surrounded by nature by visiting Gudisa Hill Sation. This place has the best view to camp and enjoys your day. It is 42 km from Maredumilli, where the last 12 km is Gudisa Ghat Road.

If you want to camp here, go there by 4 pm because travelling may be difficult. As it is remote are few food stalls or hotels available. Carry your food and water.

Maredumilli is a place that is beautiful and different every day. Despite the low temperature, winters ( October- January) are the most favourable times to visit. The temperature is 20 – 25 degrees, and you can enjoy the beautiful nature. Because of this, it may be crowded during winter.

As the entire trip is outdoors, summers are a bit harsh here; still, you can visit here. But if you want to avoid the crowd and enjoy the trip peacefully, you can visit here during the summer ( March-May). Beware and be careful with the temperatures.
