History:

Long ago Sage Agasthya’s devotees named Sudha and Markandeya Maharshi were travelling to Tirumala through Alipiri steps.

During their journey, Sudha and Markandeya Maharshi had Divya darshan of Lord Narasimha.

Meanwhile, Ramanujan chary had a dream of this temple place. Afterwards, he installs Lord Throva Narasimha Swamy in Alipiri foot route.
