Tarigonda Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple
Tarigonda Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple: is located in Tarigonda village. The main deity of this temple is Lord Vishnu in the form of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. People believe that it is a place of promise if anyone tells lie in this temple they and their family and their generations effects.
Tarigonda Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple History:
As per the legends, the Lord is installed by Dhurvasa Munni in this temple and by using his powers he also installs Dharmapeetam.
At the time of Cholas dynasty, a cowherd by name Ramanaidu usually takes the cows to Tarikunda forest for feeding the cows. One day he saw the idol of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in a cave in Tari Kunda forest. Later, he built a temple for the Lord in this place. Finally, the name Tari Kunda changes to Tari konda.

Generally, the temple opens at morning 6:00 am and closes by evening at 8:00 pm but on Wednesday the temple opens at
- Morning: 6:00 am to 1:00 pm and
- Evening: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

By Air: The nearest airport is in Tirupathi which is at a distance of 110 km.
On Rail: Vayalpad and Madanapalle railway stations are nearby railway stations to this temple. So, from there you can reach this temple by road thereafter. However, Tirupathi railway station is the major railway station which is at a distance of 96 km from this temple.
By Bus: Chinthaparthi, Angallo, and Kalikiri bus stations are nearby bus stations to this temple. So, from there you can reach this temple by local transport. However, APSRTC runs a number of buses from all major cities to here.
