Sri Desamma Temple Nagari is in Nagari of Chittoor District.

Once an old woman was living in timberland and gathers little twigs from trees. And she sells those twigs for a living.
One day while gathering the twigs she slipped down on some thorny bushes, injured her eyes and lost her sight altogether.
