Devuni Kadapa Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple: is located in Kadapa city of Andhra Pradesh. The main deity of this temple Lord Venkateswara Swamy. It is also known as Devuni Gadapa which means entrance or gateway to the Lord.
History of Devuni Kadapa:
In olden days, devotees who are going to Tirupathi to visit Balaji temple first they visit this temple during their journey. As per the legends, Kripacharya installs the deity of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in this temple. On the roof of this temple, there is a Sculpture of Lizard people believes that those who touch this lizard(Kasi balli) will get rid of all doshas of Balli (Lizard)
This temple is another finest example of Vijayanagar culture and architecture. This temple is under the maintenance of TTD.

How to reach this temple:
By Air: The nearest airport is in Tirupathi which is at a distance of 132 km from Kadapa city.
On Rail: Kadapa railway station and Krishnapuram railway stations are nearest railway stations to this temple. So, from there you can reach this temple by road thereafter. However, Tirupathi railway station is the major railway station which is at a distance of 123 km from Cuddapah.
By Bus: Kadapa bus station, Obs Kadapa and kdp 7 circles bus stations are nearby bus stations to this temple. So, from there you can easily reach this temple by local transport. However, APSRTC runs a number of buses from all major cities to here.
